Supporting evidence in the treatment of multiple sclerosis
“Supporting evidence also exists for cannabis/cannabinoids in the treatment of migraine and/or chronic migraine, cluster headaches, chronic headaches, medication overuse headache, idiopathic intracranial hypertension and multiple sclerosis.
There were 21 primary illnesses that were reported as being treated with medicinal cannabis… The subsets analyzed further were headache, chronic pain, and arthritis.
Most patients in the pain groups reported replacing prescription medications with medicinal cannabis, the most common of which were opiates/opioids across all pain groups.

CBD Oil can provide relief from symptoms such as spasticity, chronic pain, and memory loss
“The benefit of cannabinoid activity for MS is “supported both by the biology of the disease and the biology of the cannabis plant and the endocannabinoidsystem,” according to the authors of a 2012 study. “MS impairs neurotransmission, and this is controlled by cannabinoid receptors and endogenous cannabinoid ligands. [Cannabinoids] can limit spasticity and may also influence the processes that drive the accumulation of progressive disability.”
A 1997 study in the United Kingdom found that 30 percent of the MS sufferers surveyed reported relief from symptoms such as spasticity, chronic pain, and memory loss.”
